Ecomotive Logistics has taken delivery of its own this week, with a brand new two-car covered trailer to add to its ever-growing fleet. 

 

The trailer is covered and will protect whatever it is transporting from the elements. It also has a capacity of a massive 2.4 tonnes, which we recently tested out in order to transport our first car deliveries - a stunning Porsche 997 GT3RS and a then a Ferrari 575 Maranello. Both cars arrived safely and in style. 

 

As you can see from the photos, it’s a stunner and it’s full functional in order to transport full-size vehicles. In all, we have purchased five new tow vehicles since March 2020, with another five on order; totalling 10 trailers set to be delivered throughout the year. Currently, we have 23, but this number will increase to around 40 over the next 18 months. 

 

We now have one of the largest single car transporter fleets in the UK, with trained drivers; for both handovers and customer facing, as well as driving. This means we can provide a service that a lot of others can’t, such as competitors offering purely a trade plate service. We still offer trade plate transportation; with a current total of 90 - a figure that is set to increase to 120 by the end of 2021. All of which are supported by planning and administration teams at our large premises in Blaby, Leicester. 

 

This recent acquisition further fuels our growth strategies and efforts.
