There's a line we've used since the very beginning: we work to industry-leading standards of performance for our customers — and, most importantly, for their customers.
That second half is the bit that actually matters, and it's the bit most transport companies quietly ignore.
When a dealer books a movement with us, they are handing over something far more valuable than a car. They're handing over the last ten minutes of a sale they've worked weeks for. Somebody has saved for this. Somebody has told their family it's arriving Thursday. Somebody has booked the day off.
And then a stranger turns up on their driveway.
That stranger is us. Whatever the dealer has done — the test drive, the finance, the follow-up calls, the handover pack — all of it is riding on how those ten minutes go. If our driver is late, or scruffy, or short with them, or if the car turns up covered in road film, then every good thing that dealer did gets forgotten. That's not fair, but it's completely human, and it's how it works.
Which is why we go on about the small stuff to the point of being tiresome. Turn up when you said. Look like you care. Know the customer's name. Walk them round the car properly. Answer the question you can answer, and get the answer to the one you can't.
We've got thousands of reviews now across Trustpilot and Google, and the striking thing is how few of them
are about logistics. They're about a person. “He was lovely.” “He waited while I found the paperwork.” “He showed me how to set the mirrors.”
That's the business. Everything else is just admin.
