Joining us as a Transporter Driver with Ecomotive Logistics
We are currently only recruiting for full-time Transporter Drivers.
The role sees you collecting and delivering vehicles throughout Great Britain using a Ford Ranger (or equivalent) and towing a twin axle single vehicle trailer. For our three vehicle transporter role, you will be driving a two vehicle transporter truck with a trailer allowing three vehicles to be transported together. A Class 1 HGV licence with CPC qualification is required for the three vehicle role.

Collecting and delivering cars and vans throughout Great Britain. There will be some requirement to stay out overnight
Using Apps on your phone for planning, inspections and expenses – no fiddly paperwork -you will be allocated an experienced personal planner
Providing the very best service to our customers by being polite and friendly and wearing uniform is key.
The Ford Ranger is 5.10m (16'9") by no more than 2.40m wide (7'10"); the trailer is 7.2m long (23'7.5"). The combined length of the vehicle with trailer attached is 13.30m (43'8") and the maximum height for a loaded trailer is 3.5m (11'6") .
If unable to store the vehicle and trailer on your driveway, you will work from our office in Blaby (LE8 4GZ), so must be able to commute each day.
Our vehicles have a tachograph fitted, and a CPC is only required for the three vehicle role. The Ford Ranger has an automatic gearbox.
You will be over 30 with a minimum of 3 years driving experience and no more than 3 penalty points on your driving licence.
We are unable to accept applications from anyone that has been banned from driving within the last five years, or have had any of the following offence codes IN, MS, CD, DR, DG. Previous Towing experience is required.
You will need to apply for and pay for your own Tacho card/Driver card.
You will need to have a smart phone to complete your collection and delivery tasks.
Vehicle Delivery Driver role:
Full time, (no compulsory weekends or bank holidays), employed position
Flexibility is required, as hours exceed a standard 9-5 working day on occasions - you may be asked to stay out overnight during the working week
Paid monthly, the Transporter role would be circa £27,404 per annum.
