Mat Jackson, British Touring Car Champion and development driver for the P1, drove all three of Paul Bailey's cars on the Silverstone National Circuit. Three ‘warm up’ laps and a further three timed laps was the order of the day. 

 

The in car shots show how different they are to drive. The 918 boasts four wheel drive and the P1 is turbocharged while the LaFerrari is the lightest and the most powerful in terms of pure horsepower. 

 

The most interesting part of the video from my point of view was not the ultimate times achieved, but the markedly different ‘attitudes’ that the cars had on track. I think it probably comes down, ultimately, to a personal preference....and 

I still haven’t made up my mind (especially on the basis that I haven’t driven any of them).
